You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Georithm. If you are using Georithm on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms, in which case "you" refers to that entity.
Georithm is intended for business and professional use, including retail site selection, market research, real estate analysis and similar commercial purposes. We may refuse service, suspend, or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used for purposes outside the scope of these terms or in violation of applicable law.
To access most features of Georithm, you must create an account with an accurate email address and, where applicable, organization details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify Georithm promptly at jerogz@georithm.info if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
Team and organization accounts on Professional and Business plans may include multiple seats or users. The account owner is responsible for the conduct of all users added under their organization and for ensuring those users comply with these terms.
When using Georithm, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating an account, configuring integrations, or requesting site reports;
- Use the platform, including maps, demographic overlays, competitor analysis tools and AI-generated recommendations, only for lawful business purposes;
- Keep your billing and contact details up to date so that we can communicate important account and service information to you;
- Comply with the Acceptable Use Policy described in Section 10 and available in full at [/legal/acceptable-use](/legal/acceptable-use).
You are solely responsible for decisions made using information or recommendations obtained through Georithm, and for verifying that such use complies with laws applicable to your business, including fair housing, non-discrimination, planning and zoning laws.
Georithm offers subscription plans, currently Starter (£49/month), Professional (£199/month) and Business (£999/month), each with different feature sets, usage allowances and support levels, as described on our pricing page. We also offer one-off products, such as individual site reports, data export packs and AI search credit packs, which are purchased separately from a subscription.
Organizations with larger or more complex needs may contact our sales team through the enterprise contact form to arrange a custom plan, which may be governed by a separate order form or enterprise agreement that supplements these terms.
We may introduce new plans, modify existing plan features, or discontinue plans from time to time. If a change materially reduces the features available on your current plan, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email or in-app notification.
All subscription fees are billed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and by using Georithm's paid features you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms.
Fees are charged in advance for each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan) using the payment method on file. You authorize Georithm to charge that payment method for all fees due, including applicable taxes such as VAT.
One-off products, including individual site reports, data export packs and AI search credit packs, are billed at the time of purchase and are generally delivered or made available for download immediately or shortly after payment is confirmed.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, suspend access to paid features, or downgrade your account to a free tier (where available) until payment is successfully processed. You remain responsible for any fees incurred prior to suspension.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal charges are billed at the then-current price for your plan, unless we have notified you of a price change in advance.
We may send a reminder email prior to renewal, particularly for annual subscriptions, but it remains your responsibility to review and manage your subscription settings in the Billing section of your account.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that date.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or your data. You may separately request deletion of your account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Refunds relating to cancellations are governed by our [Refund Policy](/legal/refund-policy).
Georithm, including its software, user interface, underlying algorithms, map styling, AI models and documentation, is owned by Georithm or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade secret and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you under these terms, no rights or licenses are granted to you by implication or otherwise.
Subject to your compliance with these terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Georithm for your internal business purposes during your subscription term.
Certain map data, imagery and geospatial layers are provided by third-party licensors, including Mapbox, and remain subject to those providers' own intellectual property rights and license terms, as described in Section 11.
Georithm may allow you to upload, import or create content such as custom location lists, annotations, notes, saved searches and uploaded datasets ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Georithm a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display and use that content solely as necessary to provide, maintain and improve the service for you and your organization.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party, and does not violate any applicable law.
Your use of Georithm is subject to our [Acceptable Use Policy](/legal/acceptable-use), which forms part of these terms and sets out prohibited activities including unauthorized scraping, bulk extraction and resale of map or demographic data, reverse engineering, misuse of AI-generated outputs, and unlawful or discriminatory use of location and demographic data.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of the Acceptable Use Policy and to suspend or terminate accounts in accordance with Section 19 (Termination).
Georithm uses artificial intelligence, including large language models, to generate site recommendations, narrative summaries, and other insights based on demographic, competitor and geographic data ("AI Outputs"). AI Outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies.
AI Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including legal, financial, real estate, insurance or investment advice. You should independently verify any AI Output before relying on it for a business decision, and further detail is available in our [AI Usage & Disclaimer](/legal/ai-disclaimer).
We do not guarantee that AI Outputs will be accurate, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose, and we disclaim liability for decisions made in reliance on AI Outputs to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Georithm aggregates map, demographic, competitor and other geographic data from a variety of first-party and third-party sources. While we take reasonable care in selecting our data sources, geographic and demographic data can change over time, may be estimated or modeled rather than directly measured, and may not reflect real-time conditions.
We do not warrant the completeness, accuracy or currency of any map, boundary, address, demographic estimate or competitor listing displayed within Georithm. You are responsible for independently verifying any data point that is material to a significant business, financial or legal decision.
Georithm integrates data and services from third parties, including mapping services from Mapbox and various demographic, business listing and competitor data providers. Your use of features built on such third-party services may be subject to additional third-party terms, which we will make available or link to where applicable.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or content of third-party data or services, and any changes made by a third-party provider (including discontinuation of a data feed) may affect the availability or accuracy of related features within Georithm.
We aim to keep Georithm available and performing reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, third-party outages (including from our hosting, mapping or AI infrastructure providers), or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance that is expected to cause significant downtime, where practicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Georithm and its officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, Georithm, including reliance on AI Outputs or geographic data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Georithm shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Georithm, its affiliates, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of Georithm; (b) your violation of these terms or applicable law; (c) your User Content; or (d) any business decision or action taken in reliance on AI Outputs or data obtained through Georithm.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Country / Province / State], without regard to its conflict of law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection or other laws of your jurisdiction of residence apply.
We encourage you to contact us first at jerogz@georithm.info to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within a reasonable period, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Country / Province / State], unless applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own jurisdiction.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate, including to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Georithm, in whole or in part, if you breach these terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy), fail to pay applicable fees, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the service, other users, or third parties.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and, if desired, requesting account deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law, shall survive.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service, legal requirements, or business practices. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email or through an in-app notification before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of Georithm after the effective date of an updated version of these terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should stop using Georithm and may cancel your subscription.
