AI Usage & Disclaimer
Georithm uses artificial intelligence to help you interpret geographic, demographic and competitor data more quickly. Certain features within Georithm, including site recommendation summaries, narrative market analyses, and conversational search, are generated using artificial intelligence, including large language models applied to structured demographic, competitor, and geographic datasets ("AI Features").
AI Features generally work by combining your inputs (such as a search query, a location, or a report request) with structured data from our platform and third-party providers, and passing this combined information to an AI model to produce a natural-language output or recommendation.
Unless we explicitly state otherwise, we do not use your account's proprietary data, uploaded content, or customer-specific information to train underlying AI models that are shared with other customers. Where a third-party AI provider is used to process requests, that provider processes data under contractual terms consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Like all AI systems based on large language models, Georithm's AI Features can produce outputs that sound confident but are inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or entirely fabricated — a known limitation sometimes referred to as "hallucination." AI Outputs may misinterpret data, draw incorrect inferences, or present outdated figures as current.
We apply reasonable engineering practices intended to reduce these risks, such as grounding AI responses in structured data where possible, but we do not represent that AI Outputs are free from errors or that any particular level of accuracy will be achieved.
The demographic, competitor, and geographic data underlying Georithm's AI Features is refreshed on a periodic basis, and the frequency of updates varies by data category and provider. Population estimates, business listings, and competitor locations can change between refresh cycles, meaning an AI Output generated today may not reflect the most current real-world conditions.
Where available, we display the last-updated date for underlying datasets so you can assess how current the information used to generate a given insight is likely to be.
Georithm's site recommendations, market scores, demographic analyses and other AI Outputs are provided as decision-support tools only. We do not guarantee any particular business, financial, investment, insurance, logistics, or real estate outcome as a result of using Georithm, including outcomes related to site selection, sales performance, occupancy, or return on investment.
Business decisions involve many factors beyond the data available to Georithm, including factors specific to your business, local market conditions, and matters outside our knowledge. You should treat AI Outputs and other analyses as one input among several in your own decision-making process.
Nothing generated by Georithm's AI Features, and no other content on the platform, constitutes legal, financial, engineering, insurance, investment, tax, or other professional advice. AI Outputs are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional who is familiar with your specific circumstances and applicable local laws and regulations.
Before making decisions with legal, financial or regulatory consequences, including property acquisition, lending, insurance underwriting, or zoning compliance, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
You are responsible for reviewing and independently verifying any AI Output before relying on it for a material business decision. This includes cross-checking key figures against source data, confirming current conditions where relevant (such as competitor presence or zoning status), and applying your own professional judgment.
We recommend treating AI-generated summaries as a starting point for further research rather than as a final, authoritative conclusion.
Georithm's AI Features must not be used as the sole or determinative basis for high-risk decisions affecting individuals, including but not limited to lending decisions, insurance underwriting or pricing, housing eligibility, employment decisions, or other decisions that could produce a legal or similarly significant effect on a person, without meaningful human review and independent verification.
Use of AI Outputs in a manner that violates our [Acceptable Use Policy](/legal/acceptable-use), including discriminatory use of demographic or location data, is strictly prohibited.
We design our AI Features to support, rather than replace, human decision-making. Where feasible, Georithm surfaces the underlying data or sources behind an AI-generated insight so that you can review the basis for a recommendation rather than relying solely on the generated narrative.
We encourage teams using Georithm to establish their own internal review processes for AI-generated content before it is used in client-facing materials, investment memos, or other significant business documents.
If you encounter an AI Output that appears inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise problematic, please report it using the in-app feedback option where available, or by emailing us at jerogz@georithm.info with details of the query, the output, and the issue you observed.
We review reported issues on a reasonable-efforts basis to help improve the quality and reliability of our AI Features over time, though we cannot guarantee that any specific issue will be resolved by a particular date.
