Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes activities that are prohibited when using Georithm, including scraping and reselling data, misusing AI outputs, and using location or demographic data in discriminatory or unlawful ways. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the platform.

When using Georithm, you must not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Georithm, including its infrastructure, APIs or underlying AI systems;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Georithm, other users' accounts, or any related systems or networks;
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, including viruses, worms or other harmful software;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Use Georithm to build, train, or benchmark a directly competing product without our prior written consent.

You must not use automated means, including bots, scripts, scrapers or crawlers, to extract map data, demographic statistics, competitor listings, AI-generated outputs or any other data from Georithm beyond what is provided through documented, authorized export features and API endpoints included in your plan.

Bulk downloading of data with the intent to circumvent usage limits, export quotas, or subscription tiers is prohibited. Data obtained from Georithm, including exported reports, demographic data packs and map extracts, may not be resold, sublicensed, redistributed, or used to create a competing dataset or data product without our prior written consent.

Where your plan includes a defined number of exports, reports or API calls, exceeding that allowance requires an upgrade or additional purchase rather than circumvention through automated workarounds or multiple accounts.

You must not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, machine learning models, or architecture of Georithm, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

You must not use Georithm's outputs, structure, or design as the basis for developing a substantially similar competing product or service.

AI-generated insights and recommendations produced by Georithm are intended to support, not replace, human judgment. You must not present AI Outputs as independently verified facts, guaranteed outcomes, or certified professional advice to third parties, including customers, investors, regulators or the public, without appropriate disclaimers.

You must not use AI Outputs to automate high-stakes decisions, such as final lending, insurance underwriting, or housing eligibility decisions, without meaningful human review, and must not remove or obscure any disclaimers accompanying AI-generated content when sharing it externally.

Georithm's demographic and location data must not be used to discriminate unlawfully against individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, disability, familial status, age or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

Prohibited uses include, without limitation, "redlining" or similar practices that deny, limit, or price products or services (such as loans, insurance, or housing) based on the racial, ethnic or socioeconomic composition of a geographic area, and any other use that would violate fair housing, fair lending, equal opportunity, or similar anti-discrimination laws in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of demographic overlays, site recommendations, and competitor analysis complies with all laws applicable to your industry, including planning, zoning, consumer protection and anti-discrimination laws.

We welcome good-faith security research. However, you must not conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, load testing, or other security testing against Georithm's production systems without our prior written authorization.

If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability, please do not exploit it or access data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the issue. Instead, follow the responsible disclosure process described at [/legal/security-disclosure](/legal/security-disclosure).

Each subscription plan is subject to fair use limits on API calls, exports, AI-generated report generation, and other resource-intensive operations, as described in your plan details or account dashboard. We may apply technical rate limiting to protect the stability and performance of Georithm for all users.

If your usage patterns significantly and repeatedly exceed the expected use for your plan, we may contact you to discuss upgrading to a higher tier or a custom enterprise arrangement before applying further restrictions.

Individual user accounts and login credentials are intended for use by a single named individual and must not be shared across multiple people to circumvent seat-based pricing. Organizations needing multiple users should add team members through the appropriate seat or plan upgrade rather than sharing credentials.

We may monitor for patterns consistent with credential sharing, such as simultaneous logins from disparate locations, and may require re-authentication or additional verification where such patterns are detected.

We may investigate suspected violations of this Acceptable Use Policy and take appropriate action, which may include issuing a warning, temporarily suspending access to affected features, suspending or terminating your account, and, where required, cooperating with law enforcement.

Where practicable, we will attempt to notify you of a suspected violation and provide an opportunity to respond before taking suspension or termination action, except where we reasonably believe immediate action is necessary to protect the security or integrity of Georithm or its users.

If you become aware of a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, including suspected data scraping, misuse of AI outputs, or discriminatory use of Georithm's data, please report it to us at jerogz@georithm.info with as much detail as possible, including account or content identifiers where available.

We review reports of abuse on a reasonable-efforts basis and will take appropriate action consistent with this policy and our Terms of Service.
