Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund for Georithm subscriptions and one-off purchases such as site reports, data export packs and AI search credit packs, how to request one, and how statutory consumer rights apply alongside our own policy.

Monthly subscription fees (Starter, Professional and Business plans) are generally non-refundable for the current billing period once charged, including if you cancel partway through the month. When you cancel, you retain access to your plan's features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
We may, at our discretion, issue a partial or full refund for a monthly charge in exceptional circumstances, such as a confirmed billing error or a significant service outage attributable to us, as assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Where we offer annual billing at a discounted rate, cancelling an annual subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically generate a refund for the unused portion of the current annual term. If you believe you are entitled to a pro-rated refund under statutory consumer rights described in Section 12, please contact us using the process in Section 8.
We may, at our discretion, offer a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of an annual subscription in exceptional circumstances, such as extended unavailability of the service attributable to us.
If Georithm offers a free trial for a given plan, you will not be charged until the trial period ends, provided you cancel before the trial expires. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will convert to a paid plan and be billed automatically in accordance with Section 5 (Billing) of our Terms of Service.
Charges incurred after a trial converts to a paid subscription are subject to this Refund Policy in the same way as any other subscription charge.
Georithm offers one-off products, including individual site reports, data export packs, and AI search credit packs, that are purchased separately from a subscription. Because these products are generated or made available for download at the time of purchase, they are generally non-refundable once the report has been generated, the data export has been delivered, or the AI search credits have been consumed.
If a one-off product fails to generate correctly, is materially inaccurate due to a fault on our part, or is not delivered at all, please contact us using the process described in Section 8 so we can investigate and, where appropriate, issue a refund or replacement.
Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated insights or geographic data that were provided as described, subject to the disclaimers in our [AI Usage & Disclaimer](/legal/ai-disclaimer) and Terms of Service;
- Failure to cancel a subscription before a renewal date;
- Partial-month or partial-year usage following a voluntary cancellation;
- One-off products that have already been generated, delivered, or consumed;
- Violations of our [Acceptable Use Policy](/legal/acceptable-use) that result in account suspension or termination.
If you are charged more than once for the same subscription period or the same one-off product due to a processing error, please contact us as soon as possible. Once we confirm the duplicate charge, we will refund the duplicate amount to your original payment method, typically within the timeframe described in Section 9.
If you believe you have been charged an incorrect amount, charged for a plan or product you did not purchase, or charged after a cancellation was submitted, please contact us with your account details and the relevant Stripe receipt or invoice reference. We will investigate and correct confirmed billing errors, including issuing a refund where appropriate.
To request a refund, please contact us at jerogz@georithm.info with:
- The email address associated with your Georithm account;
- The invoice or receipt reference, or the approximate date and amount of the charge;
- A brief explanation of the reason for your request.
We may ask for additional information to verify your account and the transaction in question.
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within [5] business days of receipt and to provide a decision or request further information within that same period. Approved refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method via Stripe within [5-10] business days, though your bank or card issuer may take additional time to reflect the refund.
You can cancel your subscription at any time on a self-serve basis from the Billing section of your Georithm account dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but, as described above, does not automatically produce a refund for the current billing period.
If you are unable to access the Billing section for any reason, you may request cancellation by contacting us at jerogz@georithm.info.
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, as this allows us to investigate and resolve billing issues more quickly. Initiating a chargeback for a legitimately rendered service may result in suspension of your account while the matter is investigated.
If a chargeback is found to be unwarranted, we reserve the right to dispute it and to recover any associated fees, in addition to amounts owed under your subscription.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under applicable law. If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may have the right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services within 14 days of purchase, subject to conditions, including that this right may be lost once you have consented to immediate access to a digital service or download and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right.
Consumers in other jurisdictions may have similar statutory rights under local consumer protection laws. This Refund Policy is intended to operate alongside, and not to replace or restrict, any such mandatory rights.
