Data Sources & Attribution

Base map tiles and geocoding services displayed within Georithm are provided by Mapbox and incorporate map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, made available under the Open Database License.

Where our interface displays a map, we include attribution to Mapbox and OpenStreetMap contributors in accordance with their respective terms. Satellite and aerial imagery layers, where offered, are supplied by our imagery providers and are separately attributed within the map interface.

You must not remove, obscure, or alter this attribution when viewing, exporting, or sharing maps generated within Georithm.

Our use of Mapbox and OpenStreetMap data is governed by licence agreements between Georithm and those providers. Customers may view and export maps for their own internal business use as permitted within the product, but may not extract, scrape, cache, or redistribute the underlying map tiles or vector data as a standalone dataset, or use them to build a competing mapping product.

If you need broader rights to the underlying map data, you should contact Mapbox or the OpenStreetMap Foundation directly, or contact us at jerogz@georithm.info to discuss your use case.

Georithm draws on a number of third-party data providers, grouped below by category. Specific providers may change over time as described in the section on provider changes.

Mapping and geocoding

• National and regional statistical agencies and census bureaus

Different datasets are refreshed on different schedules depending on how frequently the underlying source changes and the terms under which we licence it. Map tiles and geocoding results are generally kept current with the upstream provider. Demographic and census data is typically updated on the cycle used by the originating statistical agency, which may be annual or less frequent.

Where practical, we display an indication of a dataset's vintage (for example, the census year) alongside figures generated from it. We aim to keep datasets reasonably current but do not guarantee real-time synchronisation with every upstream source.

Geographic and demographic data has inherent limitations. Coverage may be denser in some regions than others, business listings may be incomplete or outdated, and boundaries used for statistical areas do not always align neatly with informal or evolving neighbourhoods.

We make reasonable efforts to use reputable sources and to flag known gaps where we are aware of them, but we cannot guarantee that any dataset is complete, error-free, or perfectly current for every location.

Some figures shown in Georithm, such as estimated foot traffic, projected demand, or AI-generated narrative insights, are modelled or estimated rather than directly measured. These are clearly presented as estimates, projections, or AI-generated content within the product, and should be treated as decision-support inputs rather than guaranteed facts.

When you export data or reports from Georithm, your use of that export is subject to your subscription plan's terms and to the underlying provider licences described in this document. Generally, you may use exports for your own internal business analysis and reporting.

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw map tiles, geocoding results, or bulk third-party datasets obtained through Georithm as a standalone product or dataset, except where your plan expressly permits this in writing.

If you notice a business listing, boundary, demographic figure, or map feature that appears incorrect or out of date, please let us know at jerogz@georithm.info with the location and a description of the issue. We will review reports and, where appropriate, correct our records or pass the correction to the relevant upstream provider.

We may add, remove, or replace data providers over time as our product evolves or as licensing arrangements change. Where a change materially affects the accuracy or availability of a dataset you rely on, we will aim to communicate this through in-product notices or our changelog.
